Software Engineer, Integrations

EngineeringAtlanta, GA

Loyal is building healthcare’s first healthcare consumer experience platform. We believe consumers deserve to have confidence in their healthcare journey instead of confusion and frustration. That is why we partner with the nation's leading health systems to empower patients with the information and guidance they need to make better healthcare decisions.

We're looking for a software engineer to expand our API layer for all of our platform integrations. You'll get to make critical software architecture decisions in building the API layer used by our internal consumer app teams and external healthcare partners. You’ll be working in a cross functional setting with plenty of communication channels. You will contribute to the technology decisions along the way and have input in improving and growing how APIs are managed at Loyal.

    • Healthcare APIs with leading healthcare vendors such as Redox, Experity and more
    • Marketing APIs with industry standard marketing vendors like Mailchimp, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and more
    • Contact Center APIs that hook into telecommunication systems e.g. Cisco or Avaya
  • Make it easy for agencies who utilize bespoke CMS systems, e.g. Drupal or Wordpress, to use our APIs
  • Maintain our internal and external API documentation through Swagger and ReadMe
  • Collaboration with other SWE's on our API standards
  • Collaborate with Front End Engineers to implement better API data structures
  • Work with designers and product owners to vet integration priority

  • BS in computer science or equivalent practical experience
  • Five or more years experience with C# (4.x, .NET Core) or similar OOP language
  • Deep understanding of version control (Git) and code hosting (Github)
  • Deep understanding of SQL databases (SQL Server / Postgres)
  • Strong understanding of networking (HTTP protocol, load balancing, IP addressing)
  • Strong understanding of web servers (nginx, Web Apps)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Bonus Points!
